Cat Face Bookmarks

I planned on making bookmarks with all of my characters but alas, only these two are decent.

The bookmarks were inspired by stained glass window effects I learned on an art class when I was in elementary.  It's made of construction paper + some orange ribbons.  My 12-year-old self would have been proud.

This "art" is created by a brush pen and watercolor pencils.   And yes, it is filtered oddly...

Earthquakes and Rumbles

I've made a couple of comic strips with Zeus and his thunderbolt and Hades and his bident.  So of course I'm going to create one with Poseidon and the Trident!  I hope you enjoyed the series!

Zeus with his Thunderbolt
Hades with his Bident

The Bident

It is the first time I learned of the name of Hades' weapon.  I've always kind of called it the pitchfork or the two-pronged thing or (I know this is wrong--) "the scythe".  Apparently, it's called the bident.  Interesting trivia is the three major Gods, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon, have different number of prongs in their weapons.  Zeus has the thunderbolt which sort of seems like a one-pronged weapon, Hades has the bident (two prongs) and Poseidon has the trident (three prongs).  Kind of interesting; at least to me.  :)

And of course, if you want to see my comic strip with Zeus and his thunderbolt, you may view it here: http://www.homemadecomicstrips.com/2017/01/wheres-my-thunderbolt.html .

Where's my Thunderbolt?

Zeus' parents are titans Cronus and Rhea.  In the Greek Myths, the Greek Gods were never depicted as children.  I could imagine them getting into a lot of scrapes if they were.
