The Gloomy Underworld

So I know I depicted Persephone in a not-so-good light in this comic strip but in reality, she and Hades are my favorite couple.

The Bident

It is the first time I learned of the name of Hades' weapon.  I've always kind of called it the pitchfork or the two-pronged thing or (I know this is wrong--) "the scythe".  Apparently, it's called the bident.  Interesting trivia is the three major Gods, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon, have different number of prongs in their weapons.  Zeus has the thunderbolt which sort of seems like a one-pronged weapon, Hades has the bident (two prongs) and Poseidon has the trident (three prongs).  Kind of interesting; at least to me.  :)

And of course, if you want to see my comic strip with Zeus and his thunderbolt, you may view it here: http://www.homemadecomicstrips.com/2017/01/wheres-my-thunderbolt.html .

Torched

This is an idealistic cartoon-- that Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were once normal kids who get into scrapes and were then scolded by their Mom (Titan Rhea).  Alas, that wasn't so; they just somehow sprung into adult gods who thankfully still get into trouble from time to time.

007: Hades and Persephone

Ok, so I depicted Hades to be dumb but I love him in real life!

As a background, Persephone (the Goddess of Spring and Hades' wife) stays in the Underworld for a third of the year but rises from death every spring and stays above during summer and springtime.
