Cycle of Life... and Pizza
My name is John and here's me and my parents in a pizza joint near our home. I was ten.
My dad became sick and a decade later it became just me and my mom.
Unfortunately, when I turned 25 I asked God why He took my mom away, too.
But I learned that life goes on and I met Emily when I was 30. <3
And our son got born when I was 35.
And of course, my family became complete with the arrival of my daughter.
But kids don't stay kids for long and my son got engaged a few years later.
By the time I'm 65, Emily and I are having regular play dates with our grandchildren.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My name is Emily and I'm continuing John's picture book. He passed away when he was 75.
And up to date, he is being missed still.

The Lady From the Sea
When I was a kid, I heard of a story about a land beneath the sea, where mermaids dwell and a civilization thrive.
Since then, I long to see their inhabitants whom some say go up to land and befriend and play with humans. I still remember the day I waited by the shore in case they make an appearance.
So I waited...
So I waited...
... and waited...
... and waited.
After years of waiting, should I even hope?
But one day, just when I was to give up, I saw movement from behind the rocks. Could it be...??
But one day, just when I was to give up, I saw movement from behind the rocks. Could it be...??
But when I drew nearer it was gone.
The next day I took my chance and my boat out again.
And in the same spot she was waiting for me!
And in the same spot she was waiting for me!
She was such an angelic creature that I was entranced. This time I drew near enough to reach her and yet she didn't shy away.
And then I realized why...
... she decided I'M FOOD!

Scared to the Bones
Medusa is, hands down, the most used Greek Myth character in my comic strips (Or maybe Zeus. I dunno). Maybe it's because she's so well known so I know people would understand what I'm writing/drawing about.
