Who we are and what our interests are reflect in the things that we create. Obviously I make these strips because I like mini stories and doodling a little bit. However other things I like get reflected, too; in this case I am really into reading and listening to motivational materials so that got thrown in. Actually, some of the characters reflect what I like, e.g. Kat inherited my love for financial education and LoveJoy loves software programming (I have a computer science background).
